Introductions and Baby Announcements!!!!

Helllllllo Friends!!!!!

It has been a busy and joyful month here at our Ceo Na Terra Gypsy Horse Ranch. We have welcomed home several of our horses and our 2013 planned foals are in the works!

It is quite a site to see the beautiful horse trailers coming up our long driveway as we wait in anticipation for our loves to be unloaded and set free into the pastures :)  As our friend Anita likes to put it, we are all jumping up and down squealing in the driveway as they arrive.

I wanted to take a minute to introduce the guys and gals of the ranch.  Our stallion is Clononeen White Desert Prince - I really can't believe I look out my window and see him every morning.  He is the sweetest creature I could hope for and he produces some incredible little ones.  People ask me if he is a white horse - he sure looks that way with his half way to the ground white mane, flowing white tail, and white feather.  Nope!  He is a Chestnut Sabino and in the winter his coat comes in with beautiful red tones - he is truly amazing.  Prince is available to stand to a limited number of approved Gypsy mares and we are offering a discount for early booking of 2013 breedings.  Prince comes to us from Northern Lights Ranch in Ohio.  Thank you Tara Miller for this incredible addition to our farm. We welcomed home our dear dear Lightning and her filly Dior after their summer vacation back to their old friends at Lexlin.  Dior is sold to our dear friends Andrea and Michael Shove in Maryland and we expect Dior to be ready for her new family in the next couple of months.  Dior is currently being color tested and we anticipate she may be black, bay, or buckskin!  Lightning is in foal to Sundance for an expected 2013 foal who will be going home to Jennifer Rose in California.  We are currently planning Lightnings future breedings and have some very, very special boys in mind.  Please contact me if you have any questions on Lightning's career. Seren continues to take our breath away with her beauty and stature - she has turned into a fine young lady and her temperament matches her beauty - always graceful, always kind and always leaves the herd to come remember her human family.  Seren has fabulous blood lines and her sire is Peter Ash Blue Horse - we expect a great future for our Seren.  Seren will be bred to the ONE AND ONLY ROCK RANCH ICE MAN NEXT YEAR FOR A 2014 FOAL!!!!!!! Please contact me if you are a lover of blue - these two were simply made for each other!!!!!!  We will presale this planned breeding and offer special in utero pricing with custom payment options. We welcomed some absolutely incredible ladies this month and are beyond excited over the babies we are waiting on for them to deliver next summer.  Maggie has been bred to our Prince and this foal is for sale - Maggie has an exceptional build and bloodlines - she has a very unique and beautiful coat pattern and her feather is very special.  She has one leg of mixed black and white feather.  She and Prince compliment each other so beautifully.  I expect beautiful color, markings, conformation, FEATHER, HAIR, and movement out of this foal.  This foal is being offered for sale at special in utero pricing.  Payments accepted and we will work very hard to make this baby yours.  Please contact me if you are interested in learning more about this baby :)  Prince will be pursuing a career in dressage - if you are a dressage person, this baby might be an outstanding prospect for you! Kingsley, oh Kingsley, what can I say that I haven't already said?  You stole my heart - you gave me puppy love at 36 years old?  You brought a dream build into our farm?  You have the most incredible traditional "cob" build that I have seen in person?  Black feather, pony head, huge chest, strong neck - and still so feminine.  Haha - do you all think I am a fan?  Well, there is no better way to honor that build than to breed Kingsley to the stunning heavy and majestic black feathered ICOR!!!!!!!! We cant say enough about how wonderful Icor's owners have been to work with.  This baby is POSSIBLY for sale - we are planning on keeping this special treasure, but will consider sale to exceptional homes.  We do have a waiting list and her 2014 planned foal is spoken for.  If you have an interest in a Kingsley baby, please contact me as soon as possible.  UPDATE: Kingsley IS EE!!!!!! We cannot wait to see what she will produce with Icor, a BAY ROAN stallion!!!!! (Contact: shannon@ceogypsy.com  931-691-3501 or Facebook: Ceo Na Terra Gypsy Horses)

Fiddle is incredibly loving and was recently featured in a gorgeous painting by artist Jennifer Geary.  When we worked with Jennifer on the painting, we needed to use a horse with tons of hair and striking markings - there was no other choice - Fiddle has the most hair I have seen in person!  Her mane is double and incredibly thick and down to her knees.  Here feather is pretty remarkable and can stand up to some of the finest of stallions.  And how about her blue eye???  Fiddle has been bred to Lexlin Jazz and this baby will go home to Sheila Madison and her daughter.  Congratulations Sheila and we were so so excited to work with you on this pairing. :)  Fiddle will be shown by a local high school student in an upcoming Franklin County Horse Show - We are proud of you Fiddle.  Fiddle is offered for sale and would be an outstanding addition to any family or breeding program.  Here foals have been exceptional.  She can go to her new home after her baby is born and weaned.  Please contact us for pricing and payment options.  (Contact: shannon@ceogypsy.com  931-691-3501 or Facebook: Ceo Na Terra Gypsy Horses)

Please join our blog and look for updates next month!  We continue to work closely in partnerships across the country, and we are pretty sure our blog next month will be even more exciting.  We will have all of our girls confirmed in foal at that point and will be making some of the most special announcements yet about some special boys in California!!!! Lips are sealed until next time friends!!!!!

Our First Farm Blog

Good Morning Friends!
So, I decided to start a blog for the farm.  Each morning I am so inspired by something that occurs here and it's a little much to fit into a sentence on a Facebook Post.  I wanted to start our blog by telling you all a little bit about the farm and where we are headed.  Our farm is located in Winchester, TN.  We have been here for about three weeks and so much is happening!  It is exciting to see all of the horses make there way home - something we have been waiting on for what seems like forever.  The first to arrive after we moved in were Seren and Cannon, along with Frances and Mitchell.  We also welcomed a new pup to the crew, a giant schnauzer baby named Roman.  He fit right in with his brothers, Jack, a golden retriever, and Mr, Finnegan, a mini-schnauzer/yorkie mix.  The boys take farm life very seriously, and Mr. Finnegan participates in all the farm chores.  The biggest surprise arrival for us was that of Clononeen White Desert Prince - our Gypsy Stallion.  We didn't expect Mr. Prince until late fall, and we were thrilled when we learned he would be arriving this summer.

It was with great anticipation that I awaited for Prince to arrive - would he be a manageable stallion?  Would he be kind and respectful or was his arrival going to drastically change the dynamic of the farm?  Well, I am surprised daily by the gentle soul that he is.  I love all of the horses, but Prince is quite a special boy.  Every day that I am working in the barn, he stays in their with me - he has the choice to leave and head to the pasture, but he prefers to stand by our side as work in the barn.  He is very kind to the other animals and when he is in pasture, he spends it with Frances and Mitchell, our pygmy goats.  All three dogs run under and around him and it doesn't phase him.

We are getting ready and eagerly await the arrival of our junior stallion, Shasta Gideon who we hope to see home in about a month.

The last to arrive, but certainly the most anticipated will be our group of ladies.  We will be welcoming home Lightning and her baby Dior and also Fiddle.  Lightning has been bred to Sundance again and we are so so happy that the baby will go home to Jennifer Rose in California when ready.  Dior will make her way back to Maryland when she is ready to our dear friends, the Shove Family.  Fiddle is bred to Jazz and that baby has been sold to an incredibly loving and deserving family :)  I am so happy for all of our clients who are all part of our extended family :)

We are so very proud and happy to partner with Lexlin Ranch, Northern Lights Ranch, and Shasta H Ranch.  We have a wonderful network in our friends at all three ranches and we quite simply love working with each and are honored to have found friendship in all.  I sincerely hope that more people consider partnerships or at least networking.  There is never a moment where I have all of the answers and I feel that I can give so much more to those that trust me to provide them the best for their families by being able to reach out to my friends and partners.

Lastly, we always, always thank God for our blessings and for the chance to share our gypsy love and other critters with you all.  We do have some VERY, VERY, special surprises to announce and some of you who will read this already know what they are :)  I better save those for later - what fun would it be if I tell you everything in the first blog post? :)  There is nothing wrong with trying to guess though!  I will give you a hint - it has to do with some ladies and some babies (and not a Calkins baby :).

We hope to meet all of our friends and we would love to have you visit our ranch.  Please email, call, facebook, text - whatever works for you and let me know if you would like to come out and see our babies :)
